Got Questions?

We Have Answers

Definitely not! Most of our students come solo. All of our classes cater to students that both have partners and don’t have partners by using a ‘rotating system’ whereby we rotate regularly, ensuring all of our students get a chance to dance with one another. If you have a partner and do not wish to rotate, simply let the instructor know and they will gladly accommodate to your needs.
Wear whatever you feel comfortable to move in! This is a dance class so there will be a warm-up where there might be some light stretching and movement, so it’s best not so wear short skirts or dresses, or anything too restrictive. Workout wear is usually the best bet. We have dressing rooms and cubbies to put your things if you want to change at the studio.

We have a shoe store located conveniently at our studio!

Dance shoes are the best option on a dance floor. We sell the best and highest-quality dance shoes in a variety of styles and heel heights for men and women in our boutique by GFranco Dance Shoes. If you want to wait before you make the commitment, as a rule of thumb for Ladies always wear something that secures your heel (no flip flops or backless shoes). Don’t wear a heel that is too high to comfortably dance in for an hour- remember comfort is key. For men, rubber sole bottoms might leave you feeling like you are sticking to the floor, so dress shoes are often the best and most easily available option.

Private lessons are the way to go! Experience the luxury of convenience with our private dance classes, as we work around your schedule. Your private classes are tailor made to suit your level, your individual learning style, and dance goals.
Book Your Private Lesson Today!

Most of our classes are open-level classes, except for Salsa. Whether you have prior Salsa dance experience or not, it’s best to come to Beginner Salsa first. If you think you are more advanced and want to take our intermediate level, you are welcome to take a private lesson or come early to class to be evaluated, and we will find the perfect place for you to be!
MDC’s group classes run in month-long sessions always beginning the first class of the month. We prefer new students jump into the mix on the first OR second class of the month. If you come in on the third week of the month, it is too difficult to catch up on the material missed, and it is advisable to wait until the new session begins, or take a private lesson.

Mature teenagers are welcome into our group classes. It is preferable that they bring a partner that they can stick with throughout the lesson. Partner dance is a physical contact activity and for the comfort of everyone, it’s best to come with a friend their same age.
If your child is within the age ranges of 5-12, we have a dedicated SALSA KIDZ program that is perfect! It’s a 4-month program on Saturday’s with a Showcase performance at the end of the season. Learn more here
